By using this website or booking a consultation through it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service — you are welcome to telephone either of our offices instead.

We may amend these terms from time to time. The version published here at the moment you use the site is the version that applies.

The content of this website is general information about our practice areas. It is not advice on your circumstances and must not be relied on as such. Law changes, and general information can be out of date or inapplicable to your facts.

An attorney-client relationship arises only once we have accepted your matter and the terms of our mandate have been agreed in writing. Until then, please do not send us confidential or privileged material. Information submitted through the booking form is not treated as privileged.

If your matter is urgent or a deadline is running, telephone us. Do not rely on an online booking to protect a time limit.

• A booking is a request for a consultation at the time you selected. We confirm it immediately by placing it in the attorney’s calendar and sending you a calendar invitation.
• You must give accurate contact details. We use them only to reach you about that consultation.
• Available times are drawn from the attorney’s live calendar. Very occasionally a time may become unavailable between the moment you see it and the moment you confirm; if that happens we will tell you and nothing will be booked.
• Where you choose a video consultation, a Google Meet link is added to the invitation. Your use of Google Meet is subject to Google’s own terms.
• Fees, if any, for a consultation are as agreed with you separately. No payment is taken through this website.

Your confirmation page carries a private link that lets you cancel. Please cancel as early as you can so the time can be released to someone else. To move a consultation, cancel and book the new time, or telephone the office.

We may need to cancel or move a consultation — a court appearance can overrun. If that happens we will contact you to rearrange at the earliest opportunity.

The dashboard is for MML Attorneys Inc. attorneys and staff only. Accounts are created by our administrator; there is no public sign-up and no self-registration.

• Keep your password confidential and do not share your account.
• Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
• Connecting a Google Calendar is voluntary. What we access and store is set out in our Privacy Policy, and you can disconnect at any time.

You agree not to:

• Make bookings you do not intend to keep, or book on someone’s behalf without their knowledge.
• Submit false contact details, or another person’s details without authority.
• Use the site to send unlawful, defamatory, harassing or infringing material.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service, or to probe, scan or test its security.
• Scrape, harvest or automate access to availability data or the booking endpoints.
• Interfere with the operation of the service or the experience of other users.

We may suspend or refuse access, and cancel bookings, where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.

The booking service depends on services provided by Google, including Google Calendar, Google Meet and Firebase. Your use of those services is governed by Google’s own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for their availability or conduct.

Any link from this site to an external website is provided for convenience. We do not endorse and are not responsible for its content.

The content, design, layout and branding of this website belong to MML Attorneys Inc. or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may view and print pages for your own use. You may not reproduce, republish or exploit them commercially without our written permission.

We aim to keep the booking service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. It may be unavailable during maintenance, or because of a fault in a service we depend on. Where online booking is unavailable, please telephone the office.

This website and the booking service are provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness or fitness for purpose of the content on this site.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, including loss arising from a booking that could not be made, was not received, or had to be changed. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

Nothing here limits our professional obligations to a client once we have accepted a mandate.

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa. You agree to the jurisdiction of the South African courts with competence over the Western Cape.

If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
